As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll lead sales efforts across North Dakota, aligning activity with company goals and driving strong performance. You’ll develop and execute sales strategies, use economic modeling to support decisions, manage compliance with brand standards, and maintain a clear sales pipeline using CRM tools to report activity and results.
This role requires building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients, distributors, and internal teams. You’ll act as a strategic advisor to partners and key decision-makers, advocate for customer needs, and work cross-functionally to resolve issues and enhance satisfaction. Your ability to lead with integrity, deliver service excellence, and collaborate effectively will be key to growing our market presence and reinforcing A&I Distributors’ reputation for reliability.
You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in current and target markets. This includes attending tradeshows, networking with industry contacts, and building a steady pipeline of prospects to support long-term growth and expand A&I’d regional presence.
5–7 years in regional or multi-territory sales management
Experience in the petroleum industry
Proven track record of business development and account growth
Experience managing projects from inception to completion
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
Strong leadership and coaching abilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
Comfortable using CRM platforms and reporting tools
